I started my career in financial advising working at firms like Edward Jones, Wells Fargo Advisors, and Strong Gaddy Lee. I had a lot of ambition–which eventually turned into the sole desire to help people accumulate the most wealth possible. I became very successful at that, but I knew deep down I was missing something far more important.
2014
It wasn’t until 10 years later that I experienced the freedom, peace, and purpose of aligning my own finances with biblical principles that my entire view of wealth changed. What started out as a personal journey became a clear calling I could no longer keep to myself.
I stepped away from my position at Strong Gaddy Lee and launched Financial Potential Wealth Management–a faith-driven financial firm rooted in biblical stewardship, eternal impact, and Kingdom-minded advising.
This decision wasn’t driven by market positioning. It was simply obedience to God’s prompting and a desire to integrate my personal convictions and breakthroughs into my life’s work.
I stopped viewing myself as an advisor, but a disciple-maker in the wealth space.
I completed Eventide’s in-depth theology and finance course through the Center for Faith and Investing. It was rich like a seminary class and it helped me create a compelling case for aligning investments with a biblical worldview. This course truly reshaped my client conversations and has served as the backbone for my new practice.
2024
I didn’t just undergo a rebrand. It felt more like a rebirth. I began building Financial Potential Wealth Management from the ground up–a refreshed vision, compliant structure, new website, and a targeted audience that resonated with faith-aligned investing.
I started getting more involved in the growing faith-aligned investing community. The new relationships I’ve made have provided me with even more conviction to keep forging this new path.
